Oh, the weather outside is frightening and your sofa's so inviting...

The festivities of December can make it a tricky month to stay committed to exercise. Amidst wrapping gifts, planning feasts, entertaining relatives, attending parties, and tackling endless to-dos, finding time for yourself - and your well-being - often falls by the wayside.

Even with the best intentions, it's all too easy for our fitness plans to slip away from us. Sound familiar?

You come home after another marathon day, and just need a moment to relax. You sink into the depths of your comfy sofa, and grab your remote. Just five minutes. Ten minutes, tops.

But it's dark outside and bitterly cold, and the idea of heading out to the gym becomes less appealing. "Maybe just another few minutes..." you think.

However, as those minutes tick by, so does the likelihood of getting to the gym. Before you know it, you've convinced yourself it's too late to start now. There's always tomorrow, right? Maybe you could start again on Monday? Or, with the New Year just around the corner, maybe you'll just wait until then...
